The IDP Foundation, Inc. is soliciting an external evaluation in order to assess the Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Low Fee Private Schools that make up its flagship program – The IDP Rising Schools Program (IDPRSP).

The IDP Foundation, Inc. (IDPF) has named Corina Gardner as Executive Director of Education.

Back in 2017, IDP Foundation, Inc. became a founding partner of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance in order to find a way to effectively support the many social enterprises that are working towards hard to tackle global issues.

Last month, IDPF and Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance came together again to support the Ashesi Innovation Experience (AIX), Ashesi University’s annual enrichment program for high school students.

Strong partnerships and collaborating with effective organizations are key components to tackling the complex global issues that we seek to improve at the IDP Foundation, Inc. (IDPF).

While most of our grantmaking is done to support our keystone program, the IDP Rising Schools Program, and to promote advocacy efforts in global education, we also fund locally based organizations that share our same belief that education is a key component to conquering many of the world’s greatest challenges.

The IDP Foundation, Inc. has always practiced grantmaking with purpose.

An integral portion of the TFET program are the in-person trainings that consist of a two-tier “train the trainer” model in which a group of “master teachers” completes the first tier of training and then replicates the experience to their fellow teachers at their schools.

In the opening of a video entitled Practical Ways to Make the Classroom Creative and Fun, “Sesame Street” Muppets Zobi and Kami are playing a new song for their favorite teacher, Ms. Efia, slapping out the rhythm on a drum.
