Sesame Workshop is the nonprofit educational organization behind numerous global education projects including the U.S. based Sesame Street. Sesame Workshop’s mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder by creating programs in over 150 countries.

IDPF partnered with Sesame Workshop in 2011 to create the Techniques for Effective Teaching (TFET) Program to encourage teachers in the IDP Rising Schools Program to utilize child-centered teaching techniques. The TFET program promotes the social and emotional development of students through a series of teacher training video modules accompanied by a teacher workbook, training manual, low-cost learning materials, and in-person teacher trainings.
