The IDP Foundation (IDPF) team is expanding! We are delighted to announce three new additions to IDPF: Shomari Maynard, Stephen Caleb Opuni, and Man-Yee Lee!
Shomari joined IDPF in April as the Program Associate for the IDP Rising Schools Program. She supports the Chief Program Officer and Program Manager in administrative and project coordination responsibilities. Shomari has extensive international experience, having completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Brazil and an internship and field practicum in Ghana.
Stephen also joined the IDPF team in April as Country Director in Ghana. He leads IDPF’s advocacy work to strengthen the quality of existing low-fee private schools in Ghana through public/private partnerships. Stephen brings with him over 10 years of experience in the development sector that includes 4 years of project portfolio management for ActionAid Ghana.
IDPF’s newest addition is Man-Yee, our Director of Communications. As Director of Communications, she will guide and implement strategy for all of the Foundation’s marketing and communications. Man-Yee has more than 16 years of marketing and communications experience working as a journalist internationally and serving as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for Illinois’s housing finance agency.
We are so pleased to have a growing team as we continue to advance the mission of IDPF! Please join us in welcoming Shomari, Stephen, and Man-Yee!
